Skype è down, milioni di utenti sconnessi: in serata riparte il servizio

Dalle ore 10.30 di lunedì 21 settembre Skype ha avuto dei problemi per cui buona parte degli utenti connessi su scala mondiale stanno lamentando l’impossibilità di comunicare con gli altri del sistema voip acquisito da Microsoft.  Il servizio ha funzionato a intermittenza, poi è caduto del tutto.

I social network si stanno riempiendo di messaggi di utenti che cercano di capire la situazione.

Per ora non è stata identificata la soluzione al problema

Some of you may experience problems with Skype presence and may not see online. We have detected an issue with the status settings of Skype.

Affected users will not be able to change their status, their contacts will all show as offline and they will be unable to start Skype calls to them.

Instant messages are still being delivered as usual. The status issue also doesn’t affect Skype for Web, which can be used to make calls and send instant messages.

We’re working on a fix for this issue and hope to have an update for you soon. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused while we get this resolved.

Il servizio è bloccato dalle 10 del mattino e riguarda sia la versione via client che la versione web, e non sempre interessa il sistema di messaggistica. Skype non ha saputo quantificare quanto possa ancora durare il disservizio.

In serata Skype pubblica questo messaggio per chiudere il disservizio

We have identified the network issue which prevented users from logging in and using Skype today. We’re in the process of reconnecting our users, and focused on restoring full service. The issue did not affect Skype for Business users
